Hi, i found you through Stephen Bowman. Your photography skills are amazing.
I am an amateur photographer & my favourite subjects are flowers, butterflies & landscapes. I use the photos that i take to make cards for a small local charity in Norfolk where i live that is very dear to my heart.

Good evening Patti,

Sorry to dissapoint but, whilst I am aware of the places you mention, unfortunately most of my ancestors come from the lancashire area or overseas and I am a relative newcomer to this part of the country.

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry I can't provide any more information about your family history.

Regards
Matthew

Hello,
I found your blog while searching for Marshalls of Somerset.
I am doing the family tree, and want to fill in the gaps. Please bear with me here.

My gr gr grandfather was Philip George Marshall who was born in Chew Magna, Somerset in 1830. His father was a solicitor named Michael Marshall, born 1797 in Winford, Somerset.
Philip George and his brother Robert Blinman Dowling Marshall went to NZ in 1860.
I am looking for relatives who stayed in England. Do these names or places ring any bells with you.
Oh yes, my late father was a photographer which is why I thought of contacting you, between the last name, the location of your photos and the fact that you are good photographer all lead me to think it would be worthwhile asking you.
Regards, Patti
